VEC provided direct Sustainability Appraisal Services to WYG and their clients including carrying out Sustainability Assessments of Local Plans including Retail, Employment and Housing. We provided updated scoping services as well as fully assessing issues and reasonable alaternatives, as well as writing the report.

Development Sustainability Statements

in 2013 VEC provided Commercial Estates group with Sustainability Statements for their North East of Leicestershire Sustainable Urban Extension and Saighton Camp Developments.

VEC carried out a sustainability assessment of each of the sites, one for a major Urban Extension, and provided a series of recommendations for integrating sustainability measures into the site layout and the wider development as a whole.

Contaminated Land Preliminary Assessment

Whitespar, London- Adderstone Developments Ltd 2015

VEC carried out a Contaminated Land Preliminary Assessment for a residential development in Sidcup, Greater London. The assessment was carried out to LPA standards using up to date information on Ground Contaminants, Historical Land Use, and a Source- Pathway- Receptor assessment was carried out.

VEC also provided full planning services on the application, securing a Planning Officers Recommendation for Approval.
